Rake - commission online poker rooms take for providing poker games. In cash games, rake is a predetermined fraction of the pot up to a certain maximum. It can either be taken on every street or (ours) at the end of the hand.
Rakeback - a feature that allows players to have a part of the rake they paid to the room returned to their balance.
The referrers - the players who send the registration invitations and get profit from the invited (recruited) players. The profit is paid after the referrals play a particular number of games or generate the required amount of rake.
The referrals - the players registered in the system using the invitation, received from the referrer.
Affiliate â the affiliate, to whom the user is assigned.
Bonus Code â player's bonus code. The bonus code is used to assign players to the affiliates.
How does rake work?
The rake is taken from the pot but it is personalized in the The Poker Pro system, i.e. the individual rake amount depends on the amount put into the pot by a particular player. Example:
3 users played at the table. The overall pot (before the rake was taken) was $15.
Rake = 5%. (15 x 0.05) = $0.75.
Player1 bets $6, Player2 bets $6, and Player3 bets $3.
The individual rake would be $0.3 for Player1 and Player2 and $0.15 for Player3.
Rakeback & Rate System
Rakeback is a popular feature among poker rooms. It is a way to reward your most loyal and active players. It is also closely related to the rating system that defines a userâs status and privileges.
However, one should first get acquainted with some basic concepts in order to understand the rakeback and rate system.
The first of such concepts is rake. Rake is the commission the players pay to the room for playing cash games and participating in tournaments.
In cash games, rake is usually taken at the end of the hand or at the end of the betting round (for Chinese poker tables without continuous play). You can find the information on how to configure rake for cash tables in the corresponding article.
In tournaments, various fees can be paid several times: entry fee (for the initial registration, re-entry or multi-entry), rebuy fee, add-on fee.
All that money (cash tables rake and tournament fees) goes to the room and constitutes the major part of its profit.
In general, the rake is taken from the whole pot. Personal rake depends on the playerâs bet in a particular hand, the number of players in a game, and total pot. This personal rake is taken into account to count CGP, rakeback, and affiliate profit.
CGP stands for Cash Game points. CGP is a currency in our system but this currency usually cannot be used in games and only serves to increase the player level. These are the points that the players gain for paying rake and accumulating which they can reach new player levels. In other words, it is a sort of game experience in the Tre Poker Pro system. The default Rake to CGP conversion rate is 100, i.e. 1 USD of rake paid is converted to 100 CGP.
The player level is the level of the user in the system. It determines rakeback rate and some other privileges.
Rakeback is a feature that allows players to have a part of the rake they paid to the room returned to their balance. It works similarly to bank cashback: the more the players spend â the more they get it back. It is a nice bonus for our players which makes them want to return to your room and play more.
